Family Owned and Operated Restaurant and Bar Celebrates 34th Year in Business

EDWARDSVILLE, NY - The Turn-er Inn was established in 1971 by Gary B. Turner. The property for the Inn was purchased from J. Carl Eggleson, his father-in-law, because of the close proximity to scenic Black Lake. Gary and his father R. Bruce Turner constructed the bar-restaurant together from the ground up and started a place that for 3 decades has been known for good food and good times. This past year, we've mourned the loss of "Bruce".

In the 1920's Gary's grandfather H. G. Turner, an industrial engineer, purchased Bigge Island on Black Lake where the Turner Family grew up.

From Gary's mother Mary's delicious home-made soups and brother Greg's famous freight train drinks in the early years, there are good reasons why we're known for good food and drink. Gary been lucky to have help from all of his family - his wife Anita, their children Arik and Andria, carry on the traditions. Brother Richard Lake has been a rock of support when needed at the Turn-er Inn. Brother Jeff, travels from Bonita Springs, Florida to pitch in at any time.

Please join us as we welcome you to our restaurant and continue the celebration of nearly 35 years in business.
